How to submit a complaint
Use the contact form with the Copyright topic or the legal email below. Identify the copyrighted work and the material on this service you believe infringes it. Include specific URLs or project and asset identifiers when available.
Information to include
Provide your full name, contact information, your relationship to the rights holder, a description of the protected work, and the location of the disputed material. Include a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, a statement that your information is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.
Review process
We review complaints and may request additional information or expeditiously remove or restrict access to disputed material when appropriate. We may notify the affected user and preserve records needed to evaluate the complaint.
Counter-notices
If your material is removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe that happened through mistake or misidentification, contact us with the removed material’s location, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your consent to the appropriate federal court’s jurisdiction, a statement that you will accept service from the original complainant, and your physical or electronic signature. We may send a valid counter-notice to the complainant and restore material when the law permits.
Repeat infringement
Lenscap may suspend or terminate users who repeatedly infringe copyrights in appropriate circumstances. We also accommodate standard technical measures used by copyright owners when required by law.
