Lazy Lighting

Bring a clean raster image of your input composition into Lenscap.

The precise Lazy Lighting export menu varies by version and still requires verification. Keep your native project; Lenscap imports the exported image, not the project file.

STEP 01

Prepare your mapping

Finish arranging your projection surfaces in your mapping application. Keep a copy of the original project and note the canvas dimensions.

STEP 02

Export the input canvas

Export or capture the full input composition as a PNG when your installed version permits it. JPEG and WebP are also accepted. Preserve the original aspect ratio and remove editor controls or selection overlays.

STEP 03

Upload and check

Open the mapping-template flow in Create, upload the raster template, and compare the preview with your original map. Check the canvas, margins, internal seams, and perspective before generating.

STEP 04

Bring the result back

Download your MP4 and load it into your existing playback workflow. Test alignment and black levels on the actual projector.
